Reel Day’s launch version offers daily films, quotes, and widgets. It has no user accounts, diary entries, iCloud sync, analytics SDKs, or in-app purchases.
1. Information on your device
Reel Day stores app preferences, date-to-film history, and cached movie information and images locally on your device. The app and widget use local storage to display their content. Reel Day does not send this local history to a developer-operated server.
Reel Day does not include advertising or cross-app tracking. It does not require access to your contacts, microphone, or location. If you choose to share a film card, the destination app or service receives the content you choose to share and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Device-level backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings. This is separate from an app-specific iCloud sync feature.
2. Movie information and images
Reel Day connects to The Movie Database (TMDB) and its image services to retrieve film information and artwork. These requests necessarily expose network information such as your IP address and the requested movie or image to those services. Reel Day does not send diary text or an account profile; the launch version has neither.
TMDB handles information it receives according to its privacy policy. Its processing and retention practices are separate from Reel Day’s local storage.
3. When you contact support
If you email doris.growth33@gmail.com, the developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you include. These are used to answer your request, investigate issues, and follow up with you. Email is handled through Gmail under Google’s privacy policy.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing the same address. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information.
4. This website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website, as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The website does not include advertising, analytics scripts, third-party fonts, contact forms, or tracking cookies added by Reel Day. Opening external links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
5. Your choices and deletion
You can clear cached posters using the app’s storage settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that installation. Device backups or data held by services you contacted or shared with may remain; manage those separately through the relevant service or your device settings.
For questions about access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence, contact the developer below. Requests concerning data held independently by TMDB, Google, Apple, or Cloudflare can also be directed to those providers.
6. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if Reel Day’s features or data practices change. The date above indicates the latest revision.
